Norfolk Coastal Marathon and Half Marathon 29 Oct 2016
We are really excited to announce that the Norfolk Coastal Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Sat 29 Oct 2016.
Date: Sat 29 Oct 2016
Coaches: Transport will be available from the finish location to the start line, before the event begins
Half Marathon: 10:30am
This race will be staged under UK Athletics rules
Online entry only. No postal entry, No entry on the day.
Entry Limits: Full Marathon – 150: Half marathon – 150
Entry Costs UKA affiliated*: £30 Full Marathon and £26 Half Marathon. Non-UKA affiliated +£2 per entry
*UKA affiliated entries must quote UKA URN on entry
Transport: A coach will be available to take runners before the start from finish back to the start (in other words leave your car at the finish!). To be booked at the same time as entering. Cost £10.

Finish: Yarmouth Stadium Yarmouth Rd, Caister-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth NR30 5TE
Facilities: toilets and changing facilities
Race number: collected on-the-day
Personal Drinks: boxes for each check point will be available at registration for Runners personal drinks. These need to be clearly labelled with Name/Race Number
Finish: all finishers will be awarded a bespoke medal
First Aid: first aiders will be present at the start/finish and along the course. If you develop medical problems please alert the nearest marshall and prompt assistance will be provided.
Refunds: up to 6 weeks before the day of the race you will be entitled to 60% refund if you are unable to take part. If you wish to defer your entry to next year due to injury then you must do so at least 3 weeks prior to the event to allow us to fill your place.
Transfers will only be allowed with permission of the Race Director and not any closer than 2 weeks before the event.
Minimum age on race day: (18) Full Marathon; (17) Half Marathon
No person (except a blind runner’s attendant) may accompany a competitor at any point on the course.
All competitors must compete on foot.
The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
All competitors must be finished by 4:45pm.
A runner other than yourself must not use your race number. It must not be cut, folded or mutilated in any way and must be fastened securely to the front of your vest or top. Please fill in the personal information required on the reverse side including relevant medical information and contact numbers to aid race staff in the event of an emergency.
